Field Guide
Explore from above. Left-drag to rotate the island. Right-click open ground to run there, or right-drag to pan the view. Scroll or pinch to move closer. Arrow keys rotate the view; WASD moves Leo. On touchscreens, drag to rotate and tap to run.
Walk in my shoes. Choose First person, then use WASD to move. Left and right arrows turn; up and down arrows look up and down. You can also move your mouse to look around. The cursor stays locked inside the world; press Escape to return to Explore, then again to leave full screen. Keyboard looking also works without mouse lock. On a touchscreen, drag to look and use the always-ready direction buttons to move. Hold Shift to sprint. Press Space or tap Jump to hop around, or jump out of a seat.
Let the island do the talking. Movie mode takes a slow tour around the landmarks. Pause the animations to hold the moment. Move to take control, or press Escape to return to Explore.
Take a ride. Find two karts and a skateboard around the island. Press E or tap Ride nearby to hop on. Use WASD or direction buttons to drive, and arrow keys to look around; the skateboard follows the direction you face. Your speed appears while riding. Walk down the marina boarding steps to ride the jet ski: W / S move forward or reverse, A / D steer, and Shift boosts forward speed. Space or Jump hops the jet ski in either view. In First person, Space exits a kart or jumps and kickflips the skateboard. Press E again to step off. Walk into the water to swim, then return to the shore or a dock to climb out.
Meet the people. Walk near a person to hear them, then press E or tap Talk for a direct response. You can also click or tap someone nearby. Adjust Voices and Character captions in the sound settings.
Set the scene. Choose Day, Evening, or Night to see the island in a different light.
Follow your curiosity. Choose a landmark to open its story, then “Go Here” to pay a visit.
